Small Business Current Account

Our current account lies at the heart of our Small Business offering.

Sole Trader Account

A Sole Trader Account is a low-cost, no-frills account that caters to the needs of sole proprietors and informal-business owners. The account includes a debit card and mobile banking app for convenience, and access to business advice.

SME Group Account

This account is a low-cost transactional account targeted at savings and credit cooperatives, as well as savings clubs, given their high- volume, low-value transactions.

SME Call Account

The SME Call Account is targeted at SMEs that need to save towards a rainy day or preserve funds from surplus cash. It also allows savings towards the purchase of vehicles, equipment or business premises.

Account-opening requirements

Our account-opening requirements include:

Certificate of incorporation/Private business corporation certificate/Business operating licence.
Memorandum and articles of association.
Tax clearance certificate.
Constitution (informal bodies).
CR2, CR6 and CR14 forms.
Identity documents for all directors, eg national identity document ID/passport.
Proof of residence for all directors and signatories (utility bills).
Two passport-size photos.
Three months' bank statements from current or previous bankers.
