What is a Big Plan Account ?
This is a Bank Account exclusively for Civil Servants and offers a wide range of benefits and privileges, aimed at providing convenience and peace of mind to this customer segment. The account attracts a monthly service fee of only US$2.00
How does one open a Big Plan Account ?
The account can be opened online at www.nedbank.co.zw or by visiting any of our branches. Nedbank has also entrusted Direct Sales Agents (DSA) who will be activating the accounts during campaigns by means of “Bank on Wheels”.
What is Bank on Wheels ?
This is a mobile banking service (Nedbank Mobile Van) which gives Big Plan Account access to a suite of services while on the move. Account holders can apply for loans, get information, and process paperwork in the Bank on Wheels.
Account Opening Requirements
To conclude account opening, one needs to submit,
1. Copy of ID document
2. Passport size photo
3. Current Payslip
4. Proof of Residence, bring any of the following documents:
· ZESA/Water/TelOne Bills
· Letter from employer
· Letter from practising Accountant, existing bank customer, practising Doctor, practising Lawyer, Government arm.
How long will it take to open a Big Plan Account ?
Account applications for a Big Plan Account will take 24 hours to process.
Are there any other fees associated with this account ?
Approved bank charges will apply.
How soon can one apply for a loan after opening a Big Plan Account ?
Eligible customers can apply for a loan once one month’s salary has been received through Nedbank.

Account applications for a Big Plan Account will take 24 hours to process.
Is there a minimum or maximum loan amount one can qualify for ?
The loan amount qualified is dependent on one’s salary. However, the minimum qualifying net salary amount is USD170. The tenure is up to 36 months.
